Job Duties:
1. Review data flows across systems for accuracy and completeness, and perform root cause analysis of complex data errors. Identify opportunities to eliminate future occurrences and recommend short and long-term solutions for issues.
2. Develop a deep knowledge of data sets, data storage systems, and the operational processes being supported. Maintain awareness of changing business needs to create appropriate project solutions. Serve as a thought partner to resolve operational and service issues.
3. Improve Data Management's service offer and communicate with stakeholders and management to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate. Recommend changes that will enhance work-flows and procedures.
4. Integrate new or existing technologies into work-flows and communicate to all team members. Analyze impacts and prepare environment for change.
5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to define data requirements, develop project specifications, and execute data projects to ensure that the expected outputs are delivered. Provide validation and approval of project deliverables.
6. Work with internal and external partners, external vendors, and industry contacts to enable best-in-class data management practices. Lead and consult on new projects to ensure operational readiness upon implementation into the live environment.
7. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
8. May telecommute pursuant to company policies (hybrid role).
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Management Analyst, Specialist-related occupation.
