Duties:
1. Write Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
2. Troubleshoot software and processes for data consistency and integrity and integrate large scale data from a variety of sources for business partners to generate insight and make decisions.
3. Translate business specifications into design specifications and code; write complex programs, ad hoc queries, and reports; ensure that all code is well structured, includes sufficient documentation and is easy to maintain and reuse.
4. Partner with internal clients to gain an enhanced understanding of business functions and informational needs; utilize expertise in tools, technologies and applications/databases in specific business areas and company-wide systems.
5. Lead all phases of solution development and explain technical considerations at related meetings including those with internal clients and less experienced team members.
6. Test code thoroughly for accuracy of intended purpose; review end product with the client to ensure adequate understanding and provide data analysis guidance as required.
7. Design and conduct training sessions on tools and data sources used by the team and self-provisioners; provide aid to team members and business users.
8. Test and implement new software releases through regression testing and identify issues and engage with vendors to resolve and elevate software into production.
9. May telecommute in line with Company policy (hybrid role).
Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Engineer, Specialist-related occupation.
