Railinc Corp (Cary, NC) seeks a Data Scientist to research, build, deploy, and monitor ML/statistical models, develop repeatable analytics prototypes and production pipelines using large, varied datasets and deliver product use cases such as ETA prediction, predictive failure modeling, fleet utilization, and traffic predictions. Telecommuting permitted. Reqs: Bach in Applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, or data science + 1 year of exp in a data scientist role including Python; SQL; Data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib, Quicksight); ability to access, transform, and manipulate customer data in its base form (e.g. Postgres, Snowflake, JSON). In the alt, will accept 48 months of progressively responsible experience as a data scientist and experience with python; SQL; Data visualization tools (e.g., matplotlib, Quicksight); ability to access, transform and manipulate customer data in its base form (e.g. Postgres, Snowflake, JSON).
